“Novel nanolayers of antifouling star polymers”

The main objective of the proposed scientific activity is to design new antifouling layers formed by hydrophilic stellar polymers of oligoethylene glycol methacrylates, covalently bonded to the solid substrate. During the research, it is planned to determine the effect of the change in the functionality of the star on the antifouling properties of the obtained materials. The results obtained in the project will allow the development of highly resistant polymer nanolayers resistant to protein deposition.
