We would like to inform you that the Polymer and Carbon Materials Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Zabrze, established in 1954, is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its activity. The celebration of this anniversary has been planned for May 28-29, 2025. It will be combined with the International Conference “Silesian Meeting on Polymer Materials POLYMAT 2025”.

During the conference, during the session devoted to the 70th anniversary, the history of the Centre and the profiles of the most important scientists who participated in its creation will be recalled. The main directions of research currently carried out at the Centre will also be presented. We cordially invite you to celebrate our anniversary together.
