III International PLASTiCE Conference “The Future of Bioplastics”, October 1-2, 2013, Warsaw

The Conference was attended by over 120 participants from 18 countries. The first day of the conference was an opportunity to present the achievements of the PLASTiCE project, which by identifying and removing barriers in the entire value chain, will contribute to faster and wider use of biodegradable plastics and plastics from renewable sources. The second day was devoted to issues related to the bioplastics market and industry. Invited international experts presented both the current situation, new technologies and prospects for the development of plastics consistent with the principle of sustainable development and the possibilities of their practical applications.
