5th Annual Meeting of GDRI “Catalysis for polluting emissions after treatment and production of renewable energies”, September 10-12, 2012, Kazimierz Dolny
5th International Conference “Catalysis for polluting emissions after treatment and production of renewable energies”, organized by the Center for Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences, within the framework of the Polish-French (CNRS-PAN) GDRI (Groupement de Recherche International) Cooperation Program, which also includes research teams from Spain, Portugal, Romania, Italy, Germany, Brazil and Vietnam.
The Conference was attended by 31 scientists from the following foreign centers implementing the GDRI Program: Université P. et M. Curie, Paris; Université de Lorraine, Metz; Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille; Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg; Université d’Orléans; Université de Poitiers; Université Lyon, Villeurbanne; École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie, Paris; Université de Haute Alsace, Mulhouse (France) and Instituto de Carboquimica CSIC, Zaragoza (Spain), University of Bucharest (Romania), Politecnico di Milano (Italy), Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal), Saigon University (Vietnam).
On the Polish side, the Conference was attended by 25 scientists participating in research covered by the GDRI Program, from the following centers: the Center for Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Jagiellonian University, the Lodz University of Technology, the AGH University of Science and Technology, and representatives of the research and development centers of the Fertilizer Institute in Puławy and the Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis “Blachownia” in Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
The scientific program of the conference included the presentation of 37 papers in 4 thematic sessions.
