International Seminar on Polymer Materials in Environmental and Climate Protection

The seminar is organized by the Centre for Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences on July 17, 2025 (Thursday) and is funded under the NAWA “Welcome to Poland” project, supported by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (project no. BNP/WTP/2023/1/00015).

The seminar will focus on the role of polymer materials in environmental and climate protection. This unique scientific event will combine the latest knowledge of polymer chemistry, recycling technologies, and ecological innovations with the exchange of experiences. The event will provide an opportunity to learn about scientific and technological advances in the field of biodegradable and sustainable plastics, as well as innovative methods for their recycling and reuse. Particular attention will also be paid to the practical applications of these polymer materials in agriculture and technologies supporting water retention and soil protection.
