Development project Nr POIG.01.03.01-00-123/08 MEMSTENT
“Polimerowe chirurgiczne systemy resorbowalne z pamięcią kształtu”
The aim of the project was to develop the basis for a technology for obtaining a new generation of fully biocompatible surgical systems characterized by unique new properties: shape memory induced within the range of human body temperature and complete biodegradation into non-toxic products absorbed during metabolic processes. The use of these properties has made it possible to obtain surgical systems that are new on a global scale and particularly useful in minimally invasive surgery.
