“Biodegradable Polymer Micelles with Double Surface Modification for Anticancer Drug Delivery”

The aim of the project is to obtain bidirectional biodegradable micelles from a block polymer functionalized with folic acid and biotin for the delivery of anticancer drugs (docetaxel and resveratrol). According to recent recommendations, future nanomedicine should focus mainly on active targeting of nanocarriers based on ligand-receptor recognition, which may show better efficacy than passive targeting in treating cancer in humans.
