P2M WINTER SCHOOL, 2014
On 13-17 January 2014, the P2M Winter School Zakopane Conference took place in Zakopane. The conference was organized by the Jagiellonian University and the Centre for Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The conference was attended by 74 scientists, PhD students and students from 10 countries participating in the Precision Polymer Materials Programme (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Great Britain).

The four-year Precision Polymer Materials Programme (P2M) was established within the framework of the European Science Foundation. The aim of the P2M Programme was to exchange knowledge, primarily of novice scientists from leading scientific units in Europe, specializing in obtaining well-defined polymer materials, their analysis and application. The conference programme included lectures by 16 invited outstanding scientists presenting the latest techniques for the analysis and application of polymer materials. During the poster session, where 54 posters were presented, young scientists presented and discussed their latest works, which focused on the applications of advanced polymeric materials in biomedicine, photovoltaics and nanoelectronics.
