The primary goal of the Miniatura 9 project is to investigate the influence of the of star and linear polymers architecture on the performance of organic field-effect transistors, in which these materials will be used as active layers, with particular emphasis on comparing their structure property relationship. The project also includes the synthesis and in-depth characterization of block copolymers composed of poly(3-hexylthiophene) and poly(methyl methacrylate) with star and linear structures. Research will be conducted to analyze key physical and optoelectronic properties, including optical properties, internal and surface morphology, crystalline structure, and electrical properties.
