The HR Excellence in Research award is granted to research institutions and higher education organisations that implement human resources policies based on the principles of openness, transparency, and equal treatment. It recognizes institutions that support the professional development of their employees and ensure high standards in recruitment processes in accordance with the principles of OTM-R (Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment).

The extension of the right to use the HR Excellence in Research logo is the result of a positive evaluation of the Institute’s progress in implementing its HR Action Plan, as well as the commitment of the entire Institute community to continuously improving its human resources policy in line with the guidelines of the European Commission.
