ACCESSIBILITY DECLARATION OF THE CENTER FOR POLYMER AND CARBON MATERIALS OF THE POLISH ACADEMY OF SCIENCES
The Center for Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The accessibility statement applies to the BIP entity page of the Center for Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The website is partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The current website prevents us from implementing all the guidelines of the Act. The Institute does not have the resources to prepare a new website that would meet all the requirements of the Act.

The website can be operated using both a mouse and a keyboard.
KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
The website is equipped with functionality that allows access to individual sections (such as the menu or search engine) by pressing the TAB key, and after selecting the appropriate option, the ENTER key. Sections selected with the TAB key are highlighted/framed. In addition, standard browser keyboard shortcuts can be used on the website.
MOBILE VERSION OF THE SERVICE
The entity’s website is responsive (Responsive Web Design) and can be viewed on mobile device screens, such as mobile phones and tablets. It automatically adjusts the website modules to the mobile device’s screen resolution.

PROCEDURE
Everyone has the right to submit a request to ensure the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application or any of their elements. You can also request that information be made available using an alternative method of access, for example by reading a digitally unavailable document, describing the content of a film without audio description, etc. The request should include the data of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is in question and the method of contact. If the requesting person reports the need to receive information using an alternative method of access, they should also specify a convenient way of presenting this information. The public entity should fulfill the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of submitting the request. If this deadline cannot be met, the public entity shall immediately inform the requesting party when the request can be fulfilled, provided that this deadline cannot be longer than 2 months from the date of the request. If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may propose an alternative method of accessing the information. If the public entity refuses to comply with the request to ensure accessibility or an alternative method of accessing the information, the requesting party may file a complaint regarding ensuring the digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or element of the website or mobile application. After exhausting the procedure indicated above, an application may also be filed with the Commissioner for Human Rights.
ARCHITECTURAL ACCESSIBILITY
1. Entrance to the building is possible via two entrances – the main entrance from ul. M. Curie-Skłodowska and from the back of the building. The main entrance is accessed via stairs, while the entrance on the other side of the building, in addition to the stairs, has a ramp with a bell at an appropriate height. The reception desk is located on the right side of the main entrance. 2. The building has two floors, is equipped with lifts and has adequately wide passageways. On the ground floor, to the left of the main entrance, there is a toilet adapted for the needs of disabled people. 3. The Institute does not have devices and technical means to serve the hearing impaired. 4. There are parking lots with designated spaces for disabled people in front of the main and rear entrances. There is a barrier with a bell in front of the entrance to the main parking lot. Parking lots are free of charge. 5. You can enter the building with an assistance dog and a guide dog.
